After completing the  worksheet “Determining Your Cost of Living,” you are ready to project the changes that will come with Retirement.  Many of our clients are surprised to learn how much of their wages were going for Savings Plan Contributions, Payroll Taxes, and other costs they won't pay in Retirement.  In many cases their Cost of Retiring is less than they expected.

The Second Step in our “12 Steps to Early Retirement” program is "Determining the Cost of Retiring."   In the example we have given you, we built up the Cost of Retirement starting with the Cost of Living from the first worksheet.  This exercise it is the opposite of the “Reverse Engineering” we used last week.

When you’ve completed this worksheet, you wil be ready to assess whether you have enough to pay for Early Retirement.  We will do that in the step Three.

In future weeks we will present the other 10 steps, and,we'll have some seminars to go over them. So, come back often to get our updates, and don’t hesitate to contact us with your questions and suggestions.

It’s your Life (and your money).  Make the most of it!”
